Rachel Isadora recounts the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart— with special emphasis on his childhood— in clear, straightforward language perfect for little listeners. Each spread features an exquisite watercolor painting depicting Mozart at a different point in his life. “Isadora’s soft-edged watercolors are a perfect fit for this story of the boy prodigy

Not a bad introduction, a bit wordy for a very young class, and a bit inaccurate for an older class. A more detailed option for older classes might be Mozart: The story of a little boy and his sister who gave concerts by Thomas Tapper (but this isn’t a picture book). Gives some interesting insight into Mozarts childhood, although simplified for the audience. Also covers why Mozart was regularly broke.
